7 Tips to Convert Visitors Into Beat Buyers

Ready to convert your website visitors into paying customers?

After 18 years of selling beats online and running hundreds of tests, I want to share with you my best tips for turning your traffic into beat buyers.

1) Repeat visitors or returning visits are 5-10 times more likely to buy your beats compared to first time visitors.

This is why most of the experienced 'online' producers use email lists, retargeting campaigns, and social media to keep sending the same people back to their beat sites. You should be doing the same.

2) Autoplay best beats when your website loads.

Just like YouTube videos start playing automatically, you want your BEST beats to play as soon as the visitor arrives on your website. First impressions matter.

3. Have your music player or beat store high up on your website design.

You want the visitor to be able to control the music and make a purchase without scrolling down to the bottom of the page. The more work they have to do, the less they will purchase from you.

4) Have lots of special sales and bulk deals.

Having special discounts and bulk discounts can instantly double or triple your conversion rates. If you do this right, you can easily double your monthly beat sales. You might be thinking that this could lower your overall profits, however with the bulk discounts customers will end up purchasing more beats... and you will increase your average earnings per customer.

5) License info should be clear and easy to find.

Don't hide your license info, most customers buy beats because of the license they get along with the beats... So let them know exactly what they are buying, using big fonts and bold colors.

6) Lots of social proof on your website.

Social proof can be in the form of production credits, testimonials, featured artists, facebook fans, twitter followers, etc. You need to show your visitors that you work with real artists, people love your beats, and you know people! Don't have any social proof? You can always buy some fans or give away free beats to get some credits.

7) Include your contact info.

As an online business your job is to prove to your visitor that you are not a scammer, having clear contact info (email, phone, etc) will instantly show visitors you mean business.

These are just a few of my website tips, I hope that you will try out some these tips and let me know how they work for you.
